She has my iPod/therapist. I don't know what I'm going to do. She knows how I am when I don't have my therapist for a day or even an hour. She knows I love my music...like more than everything and it's all gone for the weekend. I have hers but I don't listen to any of this music, except the ones I have on my iPod. Right now I listening to Chocolate Cake. I've never heard that in my life! It's so whack! My head is hurting right now because I'm missing the peazy so much. I'm about to jump off something extremely high at this point. The closest thing that's over 30 ft, I'm leaving the earth.

Coming from work, I'm like hmmmm.... Leaders or No Leaders, that is the question...

Like.. i sittin here wonderin y must teenagers compromise themselves 2 be accpected by wat they think is tha "in group"... cuz wen u really sit n look at it... tha ppl who are seen as misfits, lames, or the uncool most of tha time they are happy wit themselves n dont give a shit about wat u or anyone else thinks... wen u look at it... they outnumber tha "cool" anyway... for every "cool" person there is 10 "uncool"... but then i look at what is cool... who defines it?... who makes tha ppl cool... idk... it makes me wonder... y cant we all be friends.. n not prejudge a person cuz of tha way tha dress or how they hang wit wen u 1st meet them... like idk wats wrong wit my age bracket... we are crazy... we try 2 meet impossible standards made by who.... The "Cool"... but u mess wit they establishment they toss yu 2 tha lions of "uncoolness".... n it has took me almost 4 year 2 realize that... IM NOT COOL n PROUD OF IT... So 2 tha "cool" i say keep your coolness n all tha pressure that comes wit it... i wont lose whats left of my mind tryin 2 stress over your version of cool.

Meet the "Red Lines". The Blue Lines came out in November. I couldn't cop those. I was on some Kanye "Can't Tell Me Nothing" type. These are flizy (Fly). They have like the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) theme. At the bottom it shows like the all the "L"s that run through the "Windy City". L is for LEADERS...lol. They're made from all types of stuff I don't feel like posting but I will show this.

Today we talked and it was boring, like really boring. We said nothing. Did we talk about so much that day that we don't have anything to talk about? But we usually talk about the most random things. I'm getting worried. Maybe we didn't talk enough... That's what she said. I think it's true.

Nah...but...yeah, so we went on our/my first date last night. I never felt a girl to be that special to take her on a date, well one other girl, but we never went. It was pleasant. I was worried it would get whack but it was like, really great. We have great chemistry... I'm used to having girls that I don't talk to in person but on the phone talk about everything... It's different we talk all the time.

Nah...but...yeah, I splashed her with melted snow. I think we were skipping (pause) and I stepped in a puddle and it splashed on her leg...lol. I couldn't even say "sorry", I was laughing so hard... We like kicked it for 4 hours. I met her at the movies (AMC), then we went to Apple, NikeTown and then Chipotle. She kept trying to get me to eat like how I woud eat if I wasn't in front of her and I couldn't I'm a messy eater...lol.

Nah...but...yeah, I don't know, I really like her and I don't want to lose her... well, I guess y'all know now.lol. She's wifey, I hope when she calls me back we'll talk about something...

THE NEW LEADERS IS DEFINITELY OPEN.

So, everyone should know by now that Leaders 1354 moved...again from the Bronzeville location to Downtown Chicago, the one in Wicker Park is still there. They're having a Notorious B.I.G. brunch at the new store, so come by and support.

Leaders 1354

It's gone... Man, I'm actually actually pretty speechless. On the site is says, "Write to them about your favorite south side store memory. I got so many I'll drop two on you all though.

The First One:
It was like the summer before my freshman year in high school. My friend says to me, "hey you wanna go to Leaders? Their having a half off sale." I'm just now getting up on Leaders, I mean I knew about it, I just never went there, so, I'm like, "cool, it's just like any other store, right?" Wrong when I got there, the first thing I noticed was the sign. I'm thinking, "Why is it so, rusty and dingy." I liked it though, it was different and you know me, the fresh weirdo. So, I stood in line. Yes, there was a line surrounding the whole parking lot, like a white picket fence. When I got in, I was amazed by the art on the walls, but I only looked for a brief moment because I didn't want all the stuff to be gone. I got one shirt, thinking it was about to be hella money cause I had nothing but empty card slots and about $100 in my wallet. I went to the register with my friend's stuff too. He got some shoes, like 5 shirts and some jeans. It all came up to 70 something dollars, I was like, "um...you forgot the other stuff...". The dude on the register, I believe it was Mike, was like, "what other stuff, that's everything..." I stood in awe, my mouth open wider than a lion while roaring. So I wanted to go and get more but, after you go to the register, that's it. I remember, he didn't give me a bag so, I think, Vic, who was standing at the door, said, 'Ay dude, where the f*** do you think you're going, where's your bag?" I was kinda of hurt, I was young and I was trying to tell him "the dude didn't give me a bag," but the words came out like stutters. I heard Mike say, "He good, He paid" and then Vic let me through. They all laughed and I laughed with them so I wouldn't feel embarrassed, it didn't work.

Second Story:
I'm well acquainted with the Leaders crew now... It was actually last year, this school year. After a long day of earning my A's & B's in my Honors and AP classes, I went to go see Kory (kind of, sord of my mentor he taught me a lot and he probably doesn't even know it). We were talking about The Shop, which has been burned down (R.I.P. thanks for the deal on the Supras) and Kory was like, "you like The Shop" and I made the mistake of saying "yeah, it's just like Leaders." Kory went CRAZY...lol. He was like "JUST LIKE LEADERS?" "What?". He said, "Did you know Leaders is one of the top five 'streetwear' stores in the country, in the world?" He pulled out the New York Times article, and the New York Times is suppose to be one of the most respected newspapers, like, ever. So he brought it to me with some highlighted sections about Leaders and dropped it on the glass display table smoothly, picked it back up without me even getting a glance at it and started reading it aloud. After he read it, he started talking about raising the prices so that people would never get those two stores mixed up again...lol. I was in there for a little while longer and then I left with a book that he gave me, because of a phone call from my aunty.

I'm really going to miss going over there after school. In fact, it's been a week in school and I want to go visit. But, I'll just have to deal wih it. Kory hit me up on the e-mail or the celly. I need to start saving up for prom and post-graduation activities...lol. I'll come and see you all when you open. For now, I'm

School Started

Sorry guys, school has started and I'm kind of busy.

The Uhaul Party

Ok, so the day before New Years Eve had to be the wildest and most fun day ever. After coming from a little Kwanzaa event, there was a debate on where we should go next because no one wanted to go home. It was like 8:30pm. Ok, so I wanted to go to the movies to go see a friend...lol, but no one wanted to go. But first my friend had to help his sister move. Me being the good Ghanaian and American citizen that I am, I decided to help when we went to meet them, instead of getting the keys and leaving to drop my little brother home. So we helped and finally got that huge sofa into the house. Where to go now, I was with my friend and my brother and other friend (brother) had the Uhaul truck. The people I was with were tripping and decided they wanted Beggar's Pizza out of the reb, black and green (blue)...lol. So they got their food dropped me off at the crib in the burbs with my older brother and we dropped my little brother with Moms. So we ended up going to IHOP, or as Imani says the Hop of I. Yeah, we pulled up there in the UHAUL bumping "Move B**** Get Out The Way" - Ludacris and we got there and circled around the IHOP like 3 times in the UHAUL to have our special entrance. We got in the IHOP and we clowned singing "Punch Drunk Love", yes a bunch of real hip-hop heads...lol. Notice I said we were listening to "Move" earlier...lol. We had a wonderful waitress and then we ate, looked at the bill ($144.94), payed and left. We go inside the entrance way and start chanting "UHAUL" and took some pictures. We got to the Uhaul and opened the back and we started acting a fool. Took some pictures and we were like, "man, what do we do now?". My friend Jihad was like let's go to me and my brother's old house, which we moved from but still own. I was like "man, we don't have the key...". My brother said, "got it" and a crowd of about 15 started cheering. We hopped in the Uhaul with about 5 other cars following. When we got there, there was fun being had, freestyles being rapped (Me, KM, Jihad) and girls being preyed on...lol. I guess that's all I mentioned. I am now....
